I started out fairly down this morning and tired. Cal's been sick off and on, along with everything else, and sleep certainly hasn't been interrupted. I went to church this morning, which made me even more tired. It was kind of an emotional service. But, I stuck w/ my plan, and went to the gym after church. I got 40 mins. in on the tall bike. You know how much I hate my body, but my quads and hamstrings are taking the blunt of it now. There's so my cellulite. It's so fucking disgusting. I know I'm supposed to take it easy on my knee, but I've also really gotta start working these quads more. When I flex, they get uglier. It's so gross. So, that's why I did the tall bike (instead of the incumbent, like I'm supposed to do). It really didn't bother my knee too much. The workout really was heaven sent. I felt so much better after I was done. After the gym, I went and bought some Super Bowl food for the boys. You'd think I'd come home w/ a new car, by how excited Brian and Ryne were at the sight of the food (Cal hasn't had much of an appetite, so he didn't care).
Anyway, I ended up taking another nap today. I think this is 2 or 3 days in a row. Super unusual for me. I got up in time for the Super Bowl. It was a good game, but slow moving in a lot of ways. Plus, I'm a little bitter, as I was pulling for the Pats. Talk about fucking up the end of a game. And those dropped passes? WTF... Never would've expected to see that from Wes Welker. Anyway, I'll quit being a sore loser (at least for now, I don't know how to permanently handle losses better). I do like the Giants, too, so I won't be losing sleep over it. Not like when the refs fucked the Seahawks against the Steelers a few years ago ; )
Food:
8:30 Smoothie (water, flax seed, spinach, mixed fruit, banana)
1:30 foot long veggie sandwich from Subway on wheat (every veggie, except jalapenos and onions) plus Lite honey mustard.
5:30 2 small bites of a shitty cheese bread stick
6:00 Split a banana and Morningstar breakfast biscuit w/ Cal.
7:00 Green tea
It's now 9:12...and no, I didn't eat enough today, and I am hungry...but I'll survive.
