I wish that I could report that my eating stayed on track yesterday, but it didn't. Today's a new day, and I will do better today. I was able to get some sleep last night, which is a huge help all the way around. I'm still behind, but I'll take any good hours of sleep that I can get.
It’s another beautiful day out here in IL.  I’ll give this state its due, when it
comes to the weather (w/ of course the exception of the winters).  I got a text yesterday from someone back in Vancouver talking about how it was raining cats and dogs.  I don’t miss that at all.  Whatever our next “big and last” move is, when we leave IL, weather will definitely be a deciding factor.  It already is, as we’ve thrown around the few places we’d like to live.
I was so mad at myself for eating poorly, that I figured out that I can’t seem to do this for myself, and I need more motivation.  Competition is a huge
motivator for me.  Also, looking forward to something awesome is always inspiring.  So, I called Amy, and said, okay if I lose 20 lbs. by the next time I see
you (which may be Aug), you need to do something seriously embarrassing, or sing something super embarrassing.  She was hell no, if you don’t, you need to…  Okay, she had a point.  So, we agreed, that if I lose it, she’ll do it, if I don’t lose it, she’ll do something.  Now, we just need to think of something good.  My friend Kathy did have a great suggestion for me, she said there’s these God awful American Flag bikini’s at Wal-Mart.  If I lose, then I have to wear one to a bar or something.  OMG.  I would f’ing die.  I think that might be a good one, because I’d sooner take a dump in the middle of a busy street, then put on a bikini.  Now, we can’t use that same one for Amy, because it’s hard to find a picture of her, when she’s not in a bikini.  Lol  I don’t know why, but making her uncomfortable or seeing her squirm is one of my favorite things.  So, we still need to figure out what hers would be.  Any suggestions?
I’ve got some birthday cards to get out today, including one for my friend’s husband.  Obviously, the three of us are really close, because I’m sending him some lotion and tissues in his card.  Haha.  At least I crack myself up.

Hopefully, I’ll have time to write more later.  Wishing you all a beautiful day.

I love this song….just like it says, our life is still unwritten.  It’s up to us to
write our own story. (by Natasha Beddingfield)

I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I'm undefined
I'm just
beginning, the pen's in my hand, ending unplanned

Staring at the blank
page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words
that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So
close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on
your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one
else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in
words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book
begins
The rest is still unwritten

Oh, oh, oh

I break
tradition, sometimes my tries, are outside the lines
We've been conditioned
to not make mistakes, but I can't live that way

Staring at the blank page
before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that
you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you
can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your
skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one
else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in
words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book
begins

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you

Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on
your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide
open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten

Oh, yeah, yeah
