Strolling through a cemetary

Last night was a super restless night of trying to sleep.  I even went out to the couch, hoping the change of scenery would help.  It actually did, a bit.  I got up this morning to get the boys ready, but I was moving very slowly.  Almost as slowly as Cal.  If you know him, you get it.  His staff always refers to it, as "Caleb time."
I finally got my ass moving around 11:45.  I got Junior out for his little walk.  He's had a tough time of it, the past couple of days, but he still enjoys it.  As long as he enjoys it, and isn't in pain, we'll keep taking him out.  After Junior's walk, I went for my normal walk, but I decided I'd change it up mid way.  I walked around areas of town that I hadn't seen.  I even walked by a giant snake.  Scared the crap out of me!  I'd say piss, but that wouldn't convey how scared I was, since I have a hard time holding it in anyway :)  It was mostly curled up, but it was probably about 4' long, and it was really thick.  It'd never seen anything like that, outside of a zoo.  In fact, I don't think I'd ever seen anything other than a gardner snake.  Just past the snake, there was a beautiful cemetary.  Typically, I only do cemetaries for funerals.  They scare me.  When I was 16, I spent a Halloween night w/ my friends, and we ended up at a cemetary.  It totally freaked me out, and I was surprised to see this guy, Scott, that was with us, nervous, too.  Scott was in my grade (Ketchikan), and he was dating a friend of mine.  He was a super cool, popular guy.  I always really liked him.  He was one of the first ppl to be nice to me, when I moved to Ketchikan.  Anyway, that following summer, Scott was killed in a car wreck.  When I see a cemetary, I think about that Halloween night.  I wonder if Scott instinctively knew, and that's why he was so uncomfortable.  I did go to his funeral, but not to the burial.  I wonder if he was buried at that same cemetary.  Anyway, in a nutshell, that's why I hate cemetaries.  So, I was a bit shocked today, when I noticed the beauty in the local cemetary.  There was a trail that went through, so I walked through it.  It's really well kept up, and it was very beautiful.  Most of the headstones, had ppl who were born or died in the 1800's.  It was very intersting.  Anyway, not at all how I thought my day would turn out.

Terrible, terrible planning today.  Time got away from me, and there's no excuse for it.  Ended up eating lots of carbs and not enough veggies.

Food:
8:15  Smoothie (strawberries, soy milk, banana, and spinach)
10:45  Piece of toast (heel) w/ pb
2:00 leftover pasta from last night, Diet Coke... 32 oz.
5:00  pb and jelly sandwich
6:30 banana, diet

Exercise:
11:45  Took Junior for 1/3 mile walk, then went an additional 4.5-5 miles.
