Screwing up oatmeal

Sleep was quite screwy, but I finally got going around 9:30 this morning.  I took Junior for a 1 mile walk, and then came home to make myself some breakfast (and Cal, Ryno now pours his own cereal :)  I decided to make some oatmeal, as that always really fills me up.  I make oatmeal a couple of times a week, but still, I read the directions every single time...I don't trust my memory to anything.  This morning I mixed up my water to oatmeal ratio (completely did it backward).  I could tell as soon as I poured in the oatmeal that something was terribly wrong, but thought no, I'm following directions.  Oatmeal starts burning, so I start adding water, then more water...It's not until it's about done, that I realize just how I screwed it up.  It just goes to show you: if I can make the recipes that I add here, you can do it.  For crying out loud.  I fuck up oatmeal!  If I don't list a recipe for something that sounds good to you, let me know, and I'll get it added for you.
9:45 1 mile walk w/ Junior
10:30  blueberries, then oatmeal w/ 1 spoonful of Stevia, and 1 of brown sugar (still tasted like crap..you know, since it was burnt)
11:45  Caffeine free diet Coke-aka, heroin
12:45  Whole wheat english muffin w/ peanut butter
1:00  Salad (spring mix, spinach, yellow cucumber) w/ light honey mustard dressing.     ****So didn't feel like eating salad, but I'm glad I did.
3:00  Craving...these damn choc/peanut butter/oatmeal cookies in my fridge.  I made them for the first time last week, and they are the best cookies I've ever had.  The good news: they're vegan, the bad....certainly not healthy.  The boys love them, though, so I made them another batch.
Anyhoo.  I made Crispy Kale for the first time.  I've heard a lot of ppl eat them instead of chips.  To me, they were okay...  I'm sure the further I get from processed foods, the better they will taste.  The batch does take 2 tbs olive oil, though, which certainly isn't great.  Glad to finally try them, though.  Sure I'll do it again.  (Oh yeah, my 10 y/o likes them)!
5:45  Dinner:  Leftovers :)  Bowl of cauliflower soup, black bean patty w/ 1/2 avocado & 1/2 tomato, small piece of Hawaiian bread (totally white & not good for me).
8:00  Took Junior for 1 mile walk, and then walked another 4 miles.  I was soooo not feeling it today, but talked my fat ass into it.  After mile 1, it got much easier, and instead of going th
