I worked my ass off at work today. I spent the majority of the day doing inventory. I had my ipod, though, and that made all of the difference. It was kind of peaceful. I also got some ordering, requisitioning, adjusting, receiving, quoting done. I love a busy day. I'm still not sure that I'll end up loving this job, but for now, I figured out how much I make a day, and everytime I think bad thoughts....I'll just think, well at least it's "x" amount today. It's better than a sharp stick in they eye. Doing that inventory, I did get a hella workout in, though. I was solo. I've never had inventory where one person did it. We've always required 2, wherever I work. It's weird to have a new person doing it, with questions on parts, etc. But I think it's working out alright. I think I prefer to do it by myself. haha. I just said I prefer to do it by myself....
My food intake was pretty good today. Thinking of the blog helped to keep me honest tonight. I thought about having eggs later tonight, or just going without eating, but I knew I had to show you my efforts. About 8 I made some of the kale w/ pine nuts. It was a different type of kale (of course, the only kind the store had). It was tougher, and I didn't like it nearly as much. Maybe it'll taste better tomorrow at lunch.
All in all a pretty good day. I think it hit 80 today. The past few days have been totally gorgeous. What a week to go back to work...oh, and I'm uber jealous that my friend gets to watch the games at the bar all day tomorrow, while I'll be stuck at work. I love taking a day off every March Madness. At least Brian and I have a sitter for when I get off work. We'll go catch some games, and no doubt, a buzz at Buffalo Wild Wings, aka BW3 (how in the hell does that make sense?)

12:15 SW bean soup (see recipe) and a spring mix salad w/ lite honey mustard dressing
3:45 Small apple
5:00 Bowl of Corn Chex w/ Rice milk and a tiny bit of sugar (I was still starving even after that damn apple)
8:00 Kale w/ pine nuts and raisins (see recipe) If you get the normal kale, it's out of this world.
