There's finally enough snow around here for sledding, so we took the boys this afternoon. I've never been around such powdery snow. It's so dry out here, it's a whole different type of snow than I'd been used to. We all had an absolute ball. Cal's already made us promise to take them again tomorrow. I loved it, because we were all having fun, but also because it was such a nice workout. Up and down those hills.
I can't say that I've really been tempted today, but I've really wished I could partake in a couple of things.... When we got back from sledding, I made the boys hot chocolate w/ soy milk. Oh, how I wanted some...still do. Instead, I had a large glass of hot herbal mint tea. Also, I made the boys some Rhodes rolls tonight. I love those things...one of my favorite things... But I made the right choice, and stayed away. I'm proud of myself.
Tonight I made a new dish, and I must say that it's one of my favorite ever. I'll add the recipe. Hope you enjoy it.
It's nearly 8, and I'm in my bathrobe. Doesn't look like we're going out tonight after all. Brian wanted to stay in, so that's fine w/ me. I realized today that in exactly 1 month from today, I will be 40. Ooh, that's tough to say. Anyhoo, I know I'll be getting my drink on, leading up to, and I'm sure after. Even if I have to sit here and do some Smurf bombs by myself :)

1:30 Leftover Green soup from last yesterday (tasted much better today), carrot and hummus
4:00 Herbal mint tea
5:00 2 Cutie oranges
6:30 Beans and Things (see recipe), w/ 3 soft corn shells, and I added a little hot sauce, steamed veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and red peppers)
8:00 Caffeine Free Diet Coke
