Day 29 Weigh in day....

2/15/2012

Well, it's that day again...the day I don't look forward to each week...  I didn't see the results I wanted this week, but I'm still plugging along.  I'm a little baffled as to why it wasn't a better weigh in.  I did pretty good this week.  I did have the mouth surgery, so I know I didn't eat as much as I should've for a few days, and it also caused me to miss a few workouts...but again, I don't think it should've had such an effect on the weigh in.  I guess I need to face the facts, that my yo-yo dieting over the years has caught up with me.  I tried ETL for the first time a couple of years ago.  I remember that first week I lost 7 1/2 lbs.  The weight losses were crazy cool.  I guess those days are over.  I'll get there, though.  Even though it's not a lot of weight loss I'm starting to see it in my body a bit.  It's been a long time since I've worked out like I have been.  I really feel that's making a difference in my body shape.  I feel good about everything (except the overall total weight loss).  I do have to say, that Brian has been my absolute biggest supporter, though.  Since the beginning, he'll wrap his arms around me, and say what's happened to my wife?  He calls me skinny, and when I complain about the results not coming quickly enough, he steps in and says, yes they are, you look great.  I honestly couldn't ask for more support from him.  It's just one of the reasons I love him so.

Okay, enough of the mumbo jumbo....I lost 1 lb. 14 oz. this week.  This puts me at 200.8  Yep...still in the 2's.  I really didn't want to see that, but again, I'm not going to let that deter me.  My total weight loss over the past 4 weeks is, 12 lbs.

Also, next week, I'll be weighing in on Tues.  I most certainly don't want to weigh in the day after I turn 40 (if I did it on Wed.), so I'll spare myself the devastation of that weigh in.  I'm sure I'll be consuming many calories of the liquid form, that I haven't been doing lately.

My interview went very well today.  I'm hoping I get an offer from them soon.  It was 3 solid hours...  Plus an hour each way (driving).  Kind of messed up my eating today, and everything else.  Got back too late for the gym, but that's a lame excuse...  I should've snuck in a BL workout on the Wii or something.  Unfortunately, I passed out for a couple of hours.  Guess I needed the sleep.  Have lots of things on my mind.  I guess it took its toll today.  Anyway, please think good thoughts for me on the interview :)  Thanks.
