Day 27

2/13/2012

Wow...what a day.

I started my day by setting up this printer that Paul gave us when he moved.  I don't know what was wrong w/ the f ing thing.  Printers are actually easy to set up, but this was not recognizing a damn thing.  FINALLY, I got it set up, and connected to my computer (although it won't show up under my printers?)  Then, I went to print, and of course it was out of black ink.  Ugh.  What a waste of a couple of hours.  I picked some ink up today, so hopefully the damn thing will work for me tonight.

From the printer fiasco, I started our taxes.  Really bright, huh?  I hate, hate, hate doing the taxes, but it makes so much more sense financially to do them myself on Turbo Tax.  I've gotten a ways through them, but I've got a ways to go...

Ryne was home sick today, but he should be well enough to go to school tomorrow.  I had a follow up dentist appt. today, and it's so nice that he's old enough where he can stay by himself for short amounts of time.  He loves it!  Anyway, I got the stitches removed from my mouth.  I also, had my teeth cleaned, and from there I was supposed to get them bleached, but they screwed up the schedule.  I've wanted to get them bleached for a long time, but it's so dang expensive.  Because I've had so much work done, I was able to talk the dentist down, but still it's $.  So, I guess I look at it like it wasn't meant to be.  I don't think I'll reschedule.  I don't think it will ruin my 40th by not having perfectly white teeth, but we shall see ; )  At least I didn't start crying.  haha.

Brian was supposed to be home early, so that gave me an opportunity to get to the gym after the dentist.  I worked my ass off today.  It felt good, but I'm a little sore.  However, I must say, I'd rather have my back hurt from working out too hard, than from laying in bed too long.  Oh, as it turns out, Brian had to work late, so I had to miss our women's night at church.  Not good, since I didn't go yesterday, either.

So, tomorrow's V-Day...why is it all I can think about is going out to eat?  I still find myself obsessing about food from time to time.  I know Brian wants to go out, but I need to give it some more thought.  I'm really hoping we can go play racquetball or something, too, though.  The weigh in is on Wed, and I need it to be good.  I hope you guys all have a special Valentines Day, whether it be with your partner, your friend, or special day that you make for yourself.  Those are the best.

Much love,

Jen
