Today was a day of getting a ton done around the house. I rearranged some things, and worked on the basement. It looks good. I feel proud of myself. My plan was to do the treadmill today, but I did a bunch of squats while lifting and putting things away. My knee has definitely felt better. I guess I'd worked out the past 9 days, it's okay to give it a little break, until tomorrow that is! At least I was pretty active most of the day.
Tonight the boys are going to an all night event at the club. This is big doings for the boys. Cal's only spent the night out w/ family, so hopefully we don't get that "call" in the middle of the night. I doubt we will, though. He'll probably be the first to fall asleep. He woke me up at 5:45 this morning and has been up ever since. The event starts at 8, and goes until 8 tomorrow morning. There will be swimming, movies, dodgeball, and there's talk of playing in the snow (although I'm betting it'll be too cold, supposed to be 2....) So, here Brian and I are...a night to ourselves. We haven't had one of those since we moved out here to BFE. Brian suggested going out for a beer, but I'm definitely not feeling it. So, are you ready....can you handle our big plans....we are going grocery shopping at Walmart...then coming home and watching "Friends With Benefits." Crazy, right? There are so many times I would've killed for us to have a night out, but really it starts so late (for us, anyway), and to go anywhere "good" you've got quite a drive ahead of you. Anyway, we'll make the most of it. I'm even wearing lotion that smells (lol). Usually I wear natural lotion w/ no smell. This is what you call, setting the mood after 19 years together ; )
Oh, today I got the nicest message from a friend that I didn't realize reads this blog. It totally made my day. I love hearing from you guys. Keep it up. You totally inspire me.
