The root canal wasn't too bad. I've had one, once before, and it was a nightmare. This wasn't fun...but as far as the procedure..it could've been a lot worse. But of course....when it came to the crown, we ran into a problem. My roots are curved which causes issues, and this particular tooth is right next to my wisdom tooth (which grew in sideways). So, then came a bunch of stuff I don't really understand about needing 3 mm space for the crown, and I have less than 1 mm. So, now I require surgery on the bone, so they can do the crown properly. MOFOSOB! This is one expensive fucking stretch....Junior...then more Junior....then a new tire....today....Cal's surgical appt. in a couple of weeks....then the surgery...then the crown. F! So, I left the dentist office, not only uncomfortable and in a little pain, but totally stressed. I then had to deal with my FAVORITE place, Walmart. When I first got to the dentist, I had them call in the prescriptions, so I wouldn't have to wait. 2 hours later, when I go to pick them up, supposedly there's no prescription that's been called in. Plus, I got total fucking attitude about it. I call the dentist, and they had the time they called in and left the v/c (2 hours before).....and the v/m is supposed to be checked at least once an hour. So, they called back, and made sure to talk to someone to have it "rushed" for me. 1 hour later, I walked out w/ my prescriptions. Bitch, whine, cry my a river, I know. I was just starting to feel so sick...
Once I finally got home, I had to wait 1/2 hour before I could pick up the kids. Once I got them, I popped my pain pill, and let it knock me out for a while. Thank Heavens.... Although, I'm sore now, it's nothing like what I was feeling earlier. In fact, I got super hungry at dinner tonight. It's not my best day of eating, but I'm proud that as stressed as I was, I didn't make a run for some fast food (like I wanted to do, while I was waiting).
It'll be an early night for bed today. Hope you guys are having a much better day, than me :) I feel bad for even bitching. There's one thing I know: it can always be a million times worse. With that, please continue to pray for G. He's recovering, but it's very slow and difficult. He needs all of our love and support.
Thanks,
Jen
