8:15 2 Morning Star Farms breakfast biscuits, can of Diet Coke (made it to the weekend w/out caffeine....and here I am like a fool).
The past few days have been a wide range of emotions. I went from having anxiety through the roof on Friday, which resulted in eating a lot, and eating very poorly, to a good(ish) weekend. Brian worked a ton last week, so I barely saw him. He even worked from 7 a.m. to 1:15 a.m. on Friday. Crazy! Thankfully, he had the weekend off. Saturday Ryno had his last football game. The coaches had promised to start him at offense for that game, but instead played him just 2 plays the whole game. He was heartbroken. Small town politics...gotta love it. After his game, we took the boys to lunch. From there, I met up w/ Brian's co-workers, girlfriend to watch the Help. I was quite proud of myself for putting myself out there and inviting her. What a fantastic movie. That night I made a big dinner for Brian. I felt so bad about how much he worked all week. I haven't cooked meat (other than hot dogs for the boys) in probably a year and a half. But I know how much Brian loves my pork chops w/ mushroom gravy, so I made those w/ Calrose rice, Rhodes rolls, brocoli, and an apple pie. All of the boys were in heaven. I guess I should start cooking them meat once a week or so. Brian doesn't eat a lot of meat, but he still does like it. Of course, the boys love it. Yesterday morning I went to church. After church, it was a long day of being lazy and watching football. My Cousin Melinda and I were playing each other in fantasy football, so that was fun (esp 'cause I won ;) Then last night, we went to a church hot dog roast. The boys had a lot of fun, and I even shamed Brian into coming with us. All in all, a really great weekend. But I must mention, my diet this weekend leaves much to be desired, and I'm not off to a great start today, either.
